With the last steel box girder hoisted in place, the main bridge of the Yunyang Fuxing Yangtze River Bridge on Chongqing Jianglong Expressway, built by China Metallurgical Corporation 19, was successfully closed, accelerating the opening of the bridge to traffic (pictured). It is reported that the Fuxing Yangtze River Bridge has a bridge deck width of 41.1 meters and a beam height of 3.2 meters at the center line of the steel box girder. The main bridge adopts prefabricated hoisting and erection of steel box girders, with a total of 81 girder sections, using 23,000 tons of steel, and the maximum steel girder weighs 278.8 tons. All the medium and thick plates required for the construction of the bridge are supplied by our company.
